GUE Orientation and Onboarding

GUE Buddy Program

The GUE Buddy Program helps create a warm and welcoming environment for all GUE new hires. The program offers additional assistance to new employees as they transition to GUE and/or the Institute. If you are interested in becoming a buddy, please review the GUE Buddy Guidelines and the GUE Buddy Lunch Reimbursement procedure and contact Kristin McCoy, GUE Director of Human Resources.

GUE Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Policy

GUE staff have a responsibility to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other sensitive data they may hold in the course of executing their duties and responsibilities as an MIT employee. It is our individual and collective responsibility to safeguard and protect this data. New GUE employees are required to familiarize themselves with GUE and MIT policy as it relates to PII. All new employees will be asked to sign a copy of the GUE PII policy acknowledging that they have read and understand the policy as well as the consequences of behaving in ways that are inconsistent with the policy. Please print the GUE PII Policy Form, sign it, and return it to Y-Chie Primo, GUE HR Assistant in 7-141 or email yprimo@mit.edu.

GUE New Employee Surveys

All new GUE employees are invited to answer a hiring survey after 7 days and a follow-up onboarding survey at the 90 day mark. Your feedback is important in helping us strive to create the best possible work environment. There is nothing for you to prepare in advance.
