MIT Office of Communications

Staff in the Institute Office of Communications, MIT’s central communications office, can assist with the strategy, production, and management of any communications project, providing expertise in branding, web, social media, email marketing, photo and video, and print production. The staff also offers a wealth of online resources and sponsors workshops and other events for communicators throughout campus.

GUE Non-Gendered Class Year Usage Guidelines

The MIT Chancellor’s Office (including DSL and GUE) has adopted non-gendered language in official documents, publications, and digital and other communications channels. The Non-Gendered Class Year Usage Guidelines clarify and provide helpful examples of terminology and usage. We encourage you to adopt these practices in your office communications and everyday usage.
